SMS MESSAGING PRIVACY STATEMENT
Our Commitment to Your Privacy. Jade Mountain Partners, LLC (the "Company") and its affiliates are committed to protecting the confidentiality and security of personal information collected in connection with our SMS messaging program. This SMS Messaging Privacy Statement supplements the Company's general Privacy Notice and describes how we collect, use, and safeguard information related to text message communications.
Scope. The Company provides access to an SMS messaging platform for use by Company employees and authorized personnel in their individual capacities in connection with their job responsibilities. Employees may use the platform to send and receive SMS messages with external parties as needed in the ordinary course of business. The Company itself does not use the platform to send marketing, promotional, or other bulk SMS communications to investors, clients, or other external parties.
Information We Collect. When you use or opt in to receive SMS messages through the Company's messaging platform, we may collect the following information:
§ Contact Info: Your phone number, name, email (for account/verification).
§ Message Content: The actual text of messages sent and received via SMS within Teams. This data is only explicitly viewable via an eDiscovery request by any third party / admin role.
§ Usage Data: Timestamps, message types (confirmation, reminder), delivery status, and distribution details (for admin reports).
§ Service Delivery: Data shared with platform providers and phone companies to deliver messages
How We Use Your Information. The Company uses the information collected through its SMS messaging platform solely in connection with internal business operations and to facilitate employee communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Disclosure of Mobile Information. The Company will not sell, rent, loan, trade, lease, or otherwise transfer for profit any mobile telephone numbers or other personal information collected through our SMS messaging platform to any third party. The Company will not share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The Company may disclose your mobile information to service providers who assist in delivering SMS messages on our behalf, and as otherwise required or permitted by law or regulation.
Your Choices: Opt-In and Opt-Out. Participation in the Company's SMS messaging program is voluntary. You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive through the platform. Information Security. The Company employs physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect mobile information in its possession or under its control, consistent with the safeguards described in the Company's general Privacy Notice.
Changes to This Statement. The Company reserves the right to modify this SMS Messaging Privacy Statement at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting. Your continued participation in the Company's SMS messaging program following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
